My wife Joy and I are  involved in the work of the Lord through the local church and foreign missions.  Currently we teach a couples’ Sunday school class, lead men’s and women’s Bible studies, coordinate a prayer ministry, and spend as much time as possible in Haiti and other places as missions team leaders and workers.  Through foreign missions God has taught us the importance of our place in the kingdom of God. In the last year God has given me a passion to help people be set free from the chains that bind them. 

One of the greatest strongholds satan has on God’s people is in the area of their health.  As Christians, many times we  believe lies from the evil one about God’s view and plan for our physical bodies.  We buy into the culture of self indulgence and self pleasure. I fought my own battle with being overweight for many years.  Through facing the possibility of becoming diabetic and realizing I was 40 pounds overweight, I began to seek the Lord and asking Him to give me what it would take to be set free.
